Subject [jira] Updated: (DERBY-2200) Add performance tests to Derby using the junit perf framework
Date Thu, 28 Dec 2006 01:07:21 GMT
     [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-2200?page=all ]

Sunitha Kambhampati updated DERBY-2200:
---------------------------------------

    Attachment: derby2200.p1.diff.txt
                derby2200.p1.stat.txt

This patch(derby2200.p1.diff.txt) adds
-- few simple performance tests using the junit perf framework.
-- small addition to the reporting in JDBCPerfTestCase to indicate the framework the test
is running in.

I have run the the perf.basic._Suite on jdk142/win2k ok.

Command to run using the text TestRunner is
$ java junit.textui.TestRunner org.apache.derbyTesting.perf.basic._Suite

Can someone please review/commit this patch.

Thanks.

> There is a simple performance junit framework that has been added as part of derby-1970.
 There are a number of improvements suggested for derby-1970, please see DERBY-1970.
> This jira is to add new performance tests to derby so that these tests are easily available
for anyone to run , report issues, fix issues etc..
