Subject Pending projects & Jira cleanup
Date Wed, 13 Dec 2006 11:28:05 GMT
Browsing through the jira issues, I find some pending projects
which seems to have been forgotten. It would have been nice if some of
these had reached som kind of conclusion.

Examples of such projects are (all from Google Summer of Code?):

DERBY-1387 Add JMX extensions to Derby
DERBY-1651 Develop a mechanism to migrate mySQL databases to Derby
DERBY-1437 Add new LRU Cache Manager

we also have

DERBY-646 In-memory backend storage support

There's a substantial work put into these and it would be too bad if
any usable code/functionality were allowed to slip into oblivion.

In addition, there are several issues assigned to people that have not
been touched for a very long time (up to one and a half year), and I
suggest that assignees that do not intend to continue with an issue,
unassign from it.
