Hi Kim - 

Here are my comments:

PDF copyright (page 4) appears run together. I would ask about this on derby-dev and perhaps
someone like Andrew can fix it. he copyright info on page 5 is just fine.

Introduction and prerequisites = twwdIntro.dita
The shortdesc seems really long. How about this:
