Subject [jira] Commented: (DERBY-2071) How to initialise BLOB in Derby.

Daniel John Debrunner commented on DERBY-2071:

JDBC 4 provides createBlob and createClob methods on Connection. Derby 10.2 supports these
methods when running in a JDK 6 environment.

With non-JDBC 4 implementations there is no corresponding feature, one can insert into a BLOB
column using a byte[] or an InputStream.
