Subject [jira] Updated: (DERBY-2006) Add JUnit and JUnitReport task as a target in Ant script
Date Thu, 02 Nov 2006 04:46:17 GMT

Andrew McIntyre updated DERBY-2006:
-----------------------------------

    Attachment: derby_2006_v6.diff

When installing the security manager, it complained of a Malformed URL parsing the policy
file if the derbyTesting.antjunit property was set to an empty String.

Attaching a patch which moves the setting of the property inside the try block. If Ant isn't
present, the property is not set at all, and the policy file parses without the warning, and
removes the setting of derbyTesting.antjunit to file://unused/ if Ant is not present.

I'll wait until tomorrow to commit in case there are other comments.

> Ant has an optional tasks called JUnit and JUnitReport that runs JUnit tests and produces
JUnit report respectively. It will be nice to have these mechanism incorporated into the
Ant script so one can easily kick off a JUnit test and view the result.
