Hi Mamta, thanks very much for the feedback. I didn't mean to rush you, just trying to find
out who was reviewing.

I definitely agree that we need good documentation for this feature, and I will file a new
JIRA issue accordingly.

I'm concerned that the current ALTER TABLE doc is already a bit unwieldy, and so I'm interested
to get some suggestions about how we can rework that doc to make it more comprehensible and

I think we can deal with all those topics as part of the documentation JIRA.
