Subject [jira] Commented: (DERBY-1565) Adjust documentation to comply with latest Apache copyright/license requirements
Date Wed, 23 Aug 2006 02:21:15 GMT

Jean T. Anderson commented on DERBY-1565:

I think the license text needs to be associated with each html file. Here's the wording I'm
looking at on http://www.apache.org/legal/src-headers.html in the section titled "What if
my project includes its web site within a product distribution?":

"Documentation, including web site documentation distributed with the release, may include
the header text within some form of metadata (such as HTML comments) or as a header or footer
appearing in the visible documentation."

> Key: DERBY-1565

> Project: Derby
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: Documentation
> Affects Versions:
> Reporter: David Van Couvering
> Assigned To: Andrew McIntyre
> Fix For:
> Part of converting over to the new requirements is to fix the documentation. I am making
this a separate subtask as I think this could better be handled by someone more conversant
with DITA and the docs build process.
