A couple of issues:

1. One of the example for GRANT in the Ref Manual patch is:

     To grant SELECT privileges to table t to users maria and harry:

     GRANT SELECT, update (description) ON t to maria,harry

I think that this example is incorrect.  I think that is should be:

      GRANT SELECT ON TABLE t to maria,harry

2. If the UPDATE privilege is granted, does the user need to specify both SELECT and UPDAE
or does UPDATE cover both? Should the example in this case be:

     GRANT SELECT,UPDATE ON TABLE t to maria,harry
