Subject [jira] Updated: (DERBY-1389) IS_AUTOINCREMENT column should be returned as part of the Database description returned by DatabaseMetaData.getColumns
Date Thu, 08 Jun 2006 15:22:30 GMT

V.Narayanan updated DERBY-1389:
-------------------------------

    Attachment: IS_AUTOINCREMENT_v1.diff
                IS_AUTOINCREMENT_v1.stat

Please find the patch attached for this issue. The patch required me to modify the getColumns
query in metadata.properties to return the autoincremented info and modify related tests
that were failing as a result of this change.

I have changed all the tests that fail as a result of this change.

The change will result in this additional column being produced irrespective of the jdk being
run with.

This will probably need a release note informing of this additional column to applications
that use DatabaseMetaData.getColumns with a lower jdk verion other than mustang.

thanx
Narayanan
