Subject [jira] Commented: (DERBY-1300) Derby Server and Administration Guide - Managing the Derby Network Server remotely by using the servlet interface (II)

Jean T. Anderson commented on DERBY-1300:
-----------------------------------------

I'd suggest shortening the additional sentence to just:

"When the Network Server is started by the servlet interface, shutting down the Application
Server also shuts the Network Server down."

The "once both run" doesn't quite sound right to my ears.

> I think it would be good to add this sentence to the note already existent in this page:
> When the Network Server is started by the servlet interface, shutting down the Application
Server also shuts the Network Server down, once both run in the same JVM.
> It occurred with Tomcat and took me by surprise. It is natural, but I wasn't expecting
it to happen.
> Also "Web server" was changed to "Application Server" for the servlet.
