I want to know about how to call a function !!

My case is ::

I have create a function like this ;

create function result(id bigint) returns varchar(34) PARAMETER STYLE JAVA NO SQL LANGUAGE
JAVA EXTERNAL NAME 'testderby.function.result';

class function{
public static String result(long id){
 connection conn;
Statemnt stmt ;
stmt = conn.createstatement();
ResultSet rs = stmt.excuteQuery("select col1 from tablename");
String str=  rs.getString(1);

so now how can i call this function from ij > prompt !!
or from any main function of a class !!
