I verified that the initial reported error no longer occurs, but the discussion for this issue
is somewhat volumnious and several other (potential) problems are mentioned.
Could someone with more knowledge about this field confirm that this issue is fixed and that
no more work is to be done on it?
If true, please close the issue.
