Subject [jira] Created: (DERBY-471) DatabaseMetaData.getXXXFunctions() methods return incorrect values.
Date Tue, 26 Jul 2005 20:41:18 GMT
DatabaseMetaData.getXXXFunctions() methods return incorrect values.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: DERBY-471
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-471
     Project: Derby
        Type: Bug
  Components: JDBC
    Versions: 10.0.2.1, 10.1.1.0, 10.2.0.0
    Reporter: Daniel John Debrunner
    Priority: Minor

The DatabaseMetaData functions getNumericFunctions, getStringFunctions, getSystemFunctions
and getDateTimeFunctions are meant to return the names of the JDBC escaped functions that
are supported by the database. The is according to JDBC 3.0 spec Appendix C (introductions)
and the javadoc for the functions.

Derby lists a more general set of functions and in some cases functions that are not supported.,
