Maybe I'm being too particular here, but this doesn't strike me as a "bug" so much as an enhancement request. The documentation for dblook doesn't list functions as one of the generated DDL targets--see here: http://incubator.apache.org/derby/docs/tools/ctoolsgenddldb.html Stored procedures are on the list, yes, but functions are not. And according to the documentation, they're not the same. What this JIRA entry is asking for is new functionality, as opposed to a fix for broken functionality. Okay, okay, it's a technicality.
