Subject [jira] Updated: (DERBY-371) Document known client/embedded differences for the Version 10.1 release
Date Sun, 19 Jun 2005 07:13:18 GMT

Jeff Levitt updated DERBY-371:
------------------------------

    Attachment: derby371.zip

The attached patch removes the section on isolation level from the "Differences between running
Derby in embedded mode and using the network server" section, since those differences are
no longer valid. In its place, a new file is created highlighting the differences between
the embedded and network clients as outlined in this issue. Please let me know if you would
like any further changes. Thanks!

> The known differences between the Client and embedded driver listed in the seciton
> Comparision and/or differences with the Derby Embedded Driver
> in the Client spec at:
> Should be documented for the 10.1 release.
> It should also be noted that there may be additional differences that are not documented
and in the future the client driver may be changed to match embedded. For example SQLStates
for exceptions generated from the client may be changed to match embedded.
