Hi Bernd,

Sorry, I promised to help complete this patch, but haven't been
providing much of a help. The patch as attached is not complete. As
Jack pointed out, we do need to raise error when there is an ORDER BY
on a correlation name that is ambiguous. For example,

> select i as a, j as a from t
A
A
----------- -----------

1
1

2
2

0
4
  3 record(s) selected.
> select i as a, j as a from t order by a    <==
Needs to raise
error, as order by a could be refering to i or j

But
> select i, i, i from t order by i
<=== This
is OK, since all references to i point to same base column.

Do you have time and interest to adjust the patch? We still have time
to submit this change to 10.1 release. There is active discussion on
when that release might happen.

Hi there,

I added a patch to http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-147
a
while ago.

I just want to know how I can figure out if this is making it into the
next release.
Do we have a site where we list what is going into the 10.1 release ?

Thanx
