After looking on the web, it looks like it should be the following:

xmlns:java="http://xml.apache.org/xslt/java" exclude-result-prefixes="java"

I started reading a bit, but it became a bit muddled when the wording 
has  changed a bit on it. (Micheal Kay spec related)...
