In other database= s we achieve case insensitive search by calling the lower() function in ord= er by. However, in Derby lower function cannot be called on parameters spec= ified in order by. You can do select lower(name) =85 but not order by lower= (name). --=20 This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - If you want more information on JIRA, or have a bug to report see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
