Jeremy's patch for Derby-89 is a first step to adding Java method
signature support for Java routines.

http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DERBY-89

The feature needs some items to be considered complete, at least
checking that the Java parameter type is correct for the SQL parameter
type, and maybe moving the signature parsing into the parser and not the
node factory. But this patch is a good first step.

This will require upgrade support as method names for routines with a
signature would not be understood by Derby 10.0.

Note that this also allows SQL NULL for numeric types to be passed into
a Java routine as a Java null, by supporting Java wrapper types, such as
java.lang.Integer.

I propose a vote for this patch and the subsequent completion of the
feature under lazy approval.

I've reviewed & tested the patch.

+1

Dan.
