Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-7272) @SchemaValidation inoperant
Date Tue, 28 Mar 2017 08:23:41 GMT

Nicolas Duminil commented on CXF-7272:

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply. Finally I found an explanation to the issue. I was deploying on WebShere
8.5.5. It comes with its own JAX-WS stack which is not CXF but based on Axis2. In order to
deploy another JAX-WS stack like CXF one needs to modify the class loading strategy to be
parent last. But this feature doesn't really work properly and my services weren't really
deployed. Additionally, the annotation @SchemaValidation wouldn't have been supported anyway,
even if the deployment would have been okay. So, I just dropped it and used a logical handler
to validate the payload againsy the schema.
But thank you anyway for your help and support.
Kind regards,

> Hello,
> I have contract-first jax-ws web services in which validation rules have been defined
in WSDL. Using invalid SOAP payloads with SoapUI, the services aren't return faults but responses
as if the payload was correct. The validation rules seem to be ignored. Is something else
required in addition to simply annotated the SEI with @SchemaValidation ?
