Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-6450:
---------------------------------------

It is a fair enough observation that the code dealing with the generics needs to be improved;
that said it does its job just fine in the majority of the realistic client or server code
sequences. Besides, every time I'm seeing a sophisticated interface like the one above I'd
like to encourage users just to keep things simple.
I'll investigate once I get a chance
Cheers

>             Project: CXF
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: JAX-RS
>    Affects Versions: 3.1.0

> Here is a simple example of the code which does *not* work as intended:
> {code:java}
> interface GenericInterface<A> {
>     @GET
>     List<A> list();
> }
> interface ServiceInterface extends GenericInterface<String> {}
> public static class TestService implements ServiceInterface {
>     @Override
>     public List<String> list() {
>         return new ArrayList<>();
>     }
> }
> {code}
> I have found that the shape of {{InjectionUtils}} is pretty bad, so please accept this
patch slightly improving the situation.
