Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-6221) CDI integration extension does not detect annotations on Karaf
Date Wed, 11 Mar 2015 22:05:39 GMT

Andriy Redko commented on CXF-6221:

[~ciapunek] I haven't looked into exception mappers yet, but the issue with @RequestScoped
became apparent now. You basically identified the cause: CXF ServletExporter conflicts with
the way pax-cdi-web-weld exports HTTP endpoints. Because of this conflict, Weld doesn't understand
when request has been started and finished, leaving context for @RequestScoped inactive.
The duplicate alias issue is also caused by ServletExporter. It is possible to resolve the
alias conflicts with <Web-ContextPath>/<path></Web-ContextPath> instruction,
however the CXF endpoints obviously are not going to work after that. At this moment, I am
not sure how this conflict could be sorted out but I am continuing to work on the solution.

Karaf. I wrapped it into OSGi bundle. I installed to my container also:

> * pax-cdi-1.2

> * pax-cdi-web-weld
> My JAXRS resources are not found by extension because some line from class **JAXRSCdiResourceExtension**
returns false even annotated element contains proper annotation but as a proxy (see attachment
image / screenshot from debugger).
