Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-5576) Initital support for CDI integration
Date Sun, 23 Mar 2014 17:41:44 GMT

Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-5576:

Hi Andrei,

Sounds good, thanks.

Re the customization: IMHO the zero-based option is a bit limited, though in case of JAX-RS
people can write per-servlet specific Applications, where A1 will set some provider properties,
A2 - some other, etc.

I wonder is there some way for users to post-process the creation of extensions the CDI way...May
be this is what you have in mind too
Cheers, Sergey

> A per section 10.2.3 Context and Dependency Injection (CDI) of JAX-RS 2.0 specification,
in a product that supports CDI, the implementations MUST support the use of CDI-style Beans
as root resource classes, providers and Application subclasses. Providers and Application
subclasses MUST be singletons or use application scope.
