Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-5576) Initital support for CDI integration
Date Wed, 19 Mar 2014 17:27:43 GMT

Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-5576:

May be this sounds strange but now that we have a super slim servlet, but no namespaces support
as we do in Blueprint/Spring, I wonder if:
- having JAX-RS & JAX-WS specific modules is a better idea
- and if yes then should we revert to the original commit that Andriy did and then assume
that the customizations will be managed by CXFCDIServlet parameters (in the frontend-specific

If not then should we have some basic schema support to manage the customization ?

> A per section 10.2.3 Context and Dependency Injection (CDI) of JAX-RS 2.0 specification,
in a product that supports CDI, the implementations MUST support the use of CDI-style Beans
as root resource classes, providers and Application subclasses. Providers and Application
subclasses MUST be singletons or use application scope.
