Andriy Redko commented on CXF-5576:
-----------------------------------

Hi guys,

Exactly. We cannot make @Inject public CXFCdiServlet(Bus bus) work in all cases: the servlet
should be created as bean then. As we discussed before, in theory it could be done using @WebServlet
annotation when servlet is bound to path and can be instantiated (but we should not take this
path as it limits users).
Sounds reasonable?

Thanks.
Andriy

> A per section 10.2.3 Context and Dependency Injection (CDI) of JAX-RS 2.0 specification,
in a product that supports CDI, the implementations MUST support the use of CDI-style Beans
as root resource classes, providers and Application subclasses. Providers and Application
subclasses MUST be singletons or use application scope.
