Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-5576) Initital support for CDI integration
Date Tue, 04 Mar 2014 12:24:20 GMT

Andriy Redko commented on CXF-5576:

Hi Sergey, Christian,

Sure, I will experiment a bit move with moving factory bean initialization into CDI extension
(or may be do more CDIsh stuff to crack this flow). I have a couple of ideas to try out. Also,
would you mind guys me creating this new module at rt/frontend and call it cdi? I will take
care of creating JUnit test cases for both WAR-based and embedded scenarios.
What do you think?

> A per section 10.2.3 Context and Dependency Injection (CDI) of JAX-RS 2.0 specification,
in a product that supports CDI, the implementations MUST support the use of CDI-style Beans
as root resource classes, providers and Application subclasses. Providers and Application
subclasses MUST be singletons or use application scope.
