Freeman Fang commented on CXF-5221:
-----------------------------------

Hi,

FYI, if you wanna configure the Logging Feature, you can always use the normal spring bean
like
{code}
<cxf:bus>
    <cxf:features>
        <bean class="org.apache.cxf.feature.LoggingFeature">
            <property name="prettyLogging" value="true"/>
        </bean>
    </cxf:features>
</cxf:bus>
{code}

<cxf:logging> just make your configuration simple(I'd say like a shortcut) if you wanna
use it in default way, but you can always configure LoggingFeature directly.

for elaboration.
> It would be neat if I was able to toggle pretty printing in the loggingFeature configuration
with:
> {noformat}
> <cxf:bus>
>     <cxf:features>
>         <cxf:logging prettyPrint="${cxf.logging.prettyPrint}"/>
>     </cxf:features>
> </cxf:bus>
> {noformat}
> instead of having to configure the beans and put them in place for each chain.
