Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-4839) WSDL parser error not logged
Date Thu, 21 Feb 2013 06:18:12 GMT

iris ding commented on CXF-4839:

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for taking care of this.

I have seen your patch and find you add one line to log the error:
LOG.log(Level.WARNING, "Failed to parse WSDL", e);
So it seems only to add function to log the error. How the log will be used in afterwards
processing? From my understanding it will only log the error there and will not influence
the handling process. Can you shed some lights on this?

> Fix for issue CXF-4676 ignores a WSDL parse exception and instead builds the service
model based on classes/annotations.
> The impact is that policies in the wsdl configured in the wsdlLocation attribute of jaxws:client
are ignored due to the parse exception.
