Subject [jira] [Commented] (CXF-4704) Class loading problem using CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet in OSGi environment
Date Mon, 17 Dec 2012 17:30:12 GMT

Sergey Beryozkin commented on CXF-4704:

I've added a class loader property; it is unfortunate servlet parameter values are supposed
to be Strings, otherwise loaded instances could've been passed along. Registering JAX-RS Application
as OSGI Service would need to be supported too...

> The JAX-RS proxy classes are not loaded when I try to use CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet in
Apache Felix. I get ClassNotFoundException.
> The problem is that currently CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet.loadClass always uses the ClassLoadUtils.loadClass
which tries the following class loaders:
> ThreadContextClassloader,
> ClassLoader from CXFNonSpringJaxrsServlet,
> Classloader from ClassLoaderUtils.
> All of them are not compatible with OSGi. It would be good, to set an explicit classloader
for the servlet.
