Subject [jira] [Resolved] (CXF-1693) Allow custom Jaxb databinding in java2ws, just like in wsdl2java
Date Fri, 09 Sep 2011 18:31:09 GMT

Daniel Kulp resolved CXF-1693.

       Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version/s: Invalid

This improvement request has been open for years and no-one has stepped up to implement it.
As such, it does not seems to be a priority for the existing CXF community. If, in the future,
someone would like to tackle this, feel free to open is and attach a patch.

> wsdl2java allows jaxb databinding customizations through -b <binding file>. java2ws
can generate the same classes as wsdl2java through -client -server etc but does not have an
option for customized databinding file. I like to be able to change the name of the Endpoint
class or change the javaAdapter for date parse/print, for example. I currently do that with
wsdl2java but now the code created by java2ws will not match up. To implement, just pass the
-b <binding file> parameter to the underlying jaxb xjc compiler.
