Subject [jira] Commented: (CXF-2684) Missing end tag for <faultstring> within Soap Fault containing a ws-security authentication failure

Daniel Kulp commented on CXF-2684:
----------------------------------

I really cannot reproduce this. Not sure what would cause this. Maybe a buffer not flushing
on the server side or something, but I cannot reproduce that either. Is there anything
in the server side log that might show some unusual behavior? Maybe a write exception of
some sort?

Can you also try with 2.2.7-SNAPSHOT and see if that behaves the same? If so, I may need
some sort for reproducible testcase.

> Components: JAX-WS Runtime

> When testing with ws-security username Token, an authentication failure results in an
expected soap fault. The soap fault contains the beginning tag <faultstring> but no
end tag. For example:
> <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soap:Body><soap:Fault><faultcode
xmlns:ns1="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">ns1:FailedAuthentication</faultcode><faultstring>
> When invoked using the CXF client, this results in the following exception:
> org.apache.cxf.binding.soap.SoapFault: Could not parse message.
