Subject [jira] Resolved: (CXF-1194) Schema Validation & MTOM fails
Date Tue, 16 Sep 2008 15:36:44 GMT

Daniel Kulp resolved CXF-1194.

       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 2.1.3
         Assignee: Daniel Kulp

Kind of "fixed". More like "hacked around". I now register a validation event handler with
JAXB. When the handler is called, I check if the element is the last element that the marshaller
had created an attachment for. If so, I ignore the error and let it continue.

> Enabling mtom & schema validation for a jaws causes problems once xsd:base64Binary
is encountered. It appears that the schema validation is applied to the mtom'd xml which will
obviously fail schema validation. To my mind if schema-vallidation & mtom are enabled
then schema validation should happen before the mtom step and not after.
