Subject [jira] Commented: (CXF-1382) Aegis runs into schema validation WARNING with interceptors

Benson Margulies commented on CXF-1382:
---------------------------------------

To tell the story in a bit more detail,

Nothing in Aegis suppresses schema validation as configured from an endpoint. However, the
schemata that Aegis delivers are rejected by the JDK 1.5 Xerces reader. I have some initial
indications that some of these problems are Xerces bugs.

Should we add a protocol for a binding to say 'don't even try to do schema validation with
me'?

> If you run org.apache.cxf.javascript.AegisTest, you will see traffic like the following
in the log. I think the WARNING needs to be attended to somehow.

> WARNING: SAXException for newSchema()
> org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: src-resolve.4.2: Error resolving component 'ns1:ArrayOfAnyType'.
It was detected that 'ns1:ArrayOfAnyType' is in namespace 'http://cxf.apache.org/arrays',
but components from this namespace are not referenceable from schema document 'null'. If this
is the incorrect namespace, perhaps the prefix of 'ns1:ArrayOfAnyType' needs to be changed.
If this is the correct namespace, then an appropriate 'import' tag should be added to 'null'.
