Subject Status of CXF-DOSGi

I just updated CXF DOSGi to the karaf maven plugin 3.0.0 and CXF 2.7-8.
There is one open issue left but apart from that we could technically do
a 1.6.0 release.

The most noteable change is that we switched the mutli bundle distro to
be based on the karaf features. So managing the distro is very easy from
now on.
The second larger change is that we updated to the newest cxf 2.7.8 so
we are in line with current cxf. I also plan to do releases of dosgi a
bit more synced with cxf so we always
can provide a dosgi distro that includes the newest cxf distro.

There is one thing that bothers me a bit though. The current multi
bundle distro is 28 MB large. I hope we can slim this down a bit.

The largest files are:
896 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.jaxb-impl-2.2.1.1_2.jar
1020 pax-web-extender-whiteboard-1.1.14.jar
1072 cxf-api-2.7.8.jar
1272 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.ehcache-2.5.1_1.jar
1368 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.xerces-2.11.0_1.jar
2588 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.saaj-impl-1.3.21_1.jar
2912 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.xalan-2.7.1_7.jar
2976 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.jaxb-xjc-2.2.1.1_2.jar
5592 org.apache.servicemix.bundles.opensaml-2.5.3_3.jar

Especially opensaml looks too big to me. I am also not sure if we really
need it.

I any case I plan to do a release next week on friday if everyone is ok
with it. If you want anything more to go into the release please adjust
the jira issues.

Christian
