Subject [jira] [Commented] (CURATOR-190) PersistentEphemeralNode.Mode.PROTECTED_EPHEMERAL creates new node on recreate
Date Tue, 28 Apr 2015 01:02:05 GMT

Cameron McKenzie commented on CURATOR-190:

I have pushed a fix on the CURATOR-190 branch. One of the tests was using a PersistentEphemeralNode
redundantly, which I have removed. The issues seemed to be related to restarting the server
by creating a new TestingServer instance. I have modified this to use the restart() method,
and this seems to be working ok now.

> PersistentEphemeralNode, when using a PROTECTED one, will create a new node with a name
that looks like it padded itself again.

> Every time I bounce it, I prepends another _c_03053942-4e11-4cf2-be75-7e689a9b2e98- onto
the node name. All of these nodes seem to live until the PEN is closed.
