Subject [jira] [Created] (CTAKES-477) Negative adjetives doesn't work for all the preposition indicated on the documentation
Date Sun, 12 Nov 2017 12:13:00 GMT
jose antonio jimenez created CTAKES-477:
-------------------------------------------

             Summary: Negative adjetives doesn't work for all the preposition indicated on
the documentation
                 Key: CTAKES-477
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CTAKES-477
             Project: cTAKES
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: ctakes-clinical-pipeline
    Affects Versions: 4.0.0
            Reporter: jose antonio jimenez
         Attachments: AggregatePlaintextFastUMLSProcessor.xml

In the javadoc for NegationFSM.java is indicated that
"recognizes "A B ..." where A is unremarkable, unlikely, or negative and B is of, in, for,
or with"

That was no correct for my tests (bellow). Attached the AE used:

.... "Negative *of* cancer"....   Polarity = -1   {color:#14892c}OK{color}
....  "Negative *in* cancer" .....Polarity = 1   {color:red}KO{color}
.... "negative *for* swelling" .....  Polarity = 1   {color:red}KO{color}

So
