Thanks for catching that Tim.
This edge case (single word sentence) always seems to bite us in the rear end.
If you have  chance, could you commit a test data file that contains a single token sentence
somewhere so that it could be used in the unit tests and regression-test?  If not, I'll try
to add it in as soon as I get a chance over the next few weeks.
