Subject [jira] [Commented] (CTAKES-57) Type System updates for 3.x-incubating

Steven Bethard commented on CTAKES-57:
--------------------------------------

A few more issues I almost forgot:

* EventMention doesn't have anywhere I can put a HistoryOfModifier.

* There's a "Status" attribute, which takes on the values "HistoryOf", "FamilyHistoryOf" and
"Possible". I'm not sure where that's supposed to fit into the type system. (HistoryOfModifier
only has a boolean "indicated" feature, so it can't go there right now.)

* For THYME relations, we have TLINK relations (with categories like "OVERLAP") and ALINK
relations (with categories like "CONTINUES"). But there's only one "category" feature, so
we can only store either TLINK/ALINK or OVERLAP/CONTINUES/etc. but not both. I think the cleanest
solution would probably be to create extra subclasses of BinaryTextRelation, TemporalTextRelation
and AspectualTextRelation, and then the category would store OVERLAP/CONTINUES/etc. But I'm
open to other solutions here as well.
