I tried with the small script (buh):

export JAVA_OPTS="-Dgroovy.grape.report.downloads=true $JAVA_OPTS"
HighFire-6:~ bluefire$ ./buh
Resolving dependency: edu.mit.findstruct#findstructapi;0.0.1 {default=[default]}

looks ok to me.
