Oh, just noticed this two-week-old comment here, I guess I missed it previously.

+1 to the idea of having a the FnContext object as parameter to a lambda.

And about the IFilterFn/FIlterFn thing, avoiding a need to recompile stuff sounds fine to
me, and this is a change we could always do in the future if desired.
