Subject [jira] [Created] (CRUNCH-130) Update the text of the website to use Apache Crunch as an adjective, not a noun
Date Thu, 13 Dec 2012 01:03:21 GMT
Josh Wills created CRUNCH-130:
---------------------------------

Summary: Update the text of the website to use Apache Crunch as an adjective,
not a noun
                 Key: CRUNCH-130
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CRUNCH-130
             Project: Crunch
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Site
            Reporter: Josh Wills

Learned this in the process of working with the ASF's trademarks team:
http://itre.cis.upenn.edu/~myl/languagelog/archives/000943.html

We need to refer to the "Apache Crunch (incubating) Java library" or the "Apache Crunch (incubating)
Project" on the website and scrub any usage of Crunch as a noun from the pages.
