Hi Philip,

thanks for the suggestion.

So I guess the problem is not that Rat does not recognize the CC license, but does not "understand"
AsciiDoc.

I added the section you recommended:

{code}
////
THE WORK (AS DEFINED BELOW) IS PROVIDED UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS
CREATIVE COMMONS PUBLIC LICENSE ("CCPL" OR "LICENSE"). THE WORK IS
PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT AND/OR OTHER APPLICABLE LAW. ANY USE OF THE
WORK OTHER THAN AS AUTHORIZED UNDER THIS LICENSE OR COPYRIGHT LAW IS
PROHIBITED.

BY EXERCISING ANY RIGHTS TO THE WORK PROVIDED HERE, YOU ACCEPT AND
AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE. TO THE EXTENT THIS
LICENSE MAY BE CONSIDERED TO BE A CONTRACT, THE LICENSOR GRANTS YOU
THE RIGHTS CONTAINED HERE IN CONSIDERATION OF YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF SUCH
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
////
{code}

but Rat still does not recognize the license.

> Add support for Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 and Creative Commons Attribution-Share
Alike 3.0 licenses
> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>
>                 Key: RAT-206
>                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAT-206
>             Project: Apache Rat
>          Issue Type: New Feature
>            Reporter: Pascal Schumacher
>
> It would be very nice if support for the "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5"
and "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0" licenses could be added to Rat.
> Background: The documentation of the incubating Groovy Project is licensed under "Creative
Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0" and according to: [https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#cc-sa]
this is o.k. but, Rat does not seem to recognize the license.
