This is true, but it doesn’t matter whether or not you use the replicator db. Any replication
has these properties.

CouchDB replication supports a fully P2P mesh model with no masters, no permanent connections,
and arbitrary connection topology. New revisions will propagate between the peers until everyone
has a copy.
