CouchDB uses an LRU cache to keep an=C2=A0appropriate number of DB handle= s open for active connections. A better set of questions to ask is: - how many active concurrent users (=3D=3D=3D DBs) do you expect=3F - what sort of replication (esp filtered, continuous =E2=80=A6) do you ex= pect=3F A+ Dave
