Subject Couch not running on Fedora 19?
Date Thu, 30 May 2013 19:15:17 GMT
Folks;

having a hard time trying to run CouchDB 1.2.2 on a Fedora 19 host.
Tried various versions of pre-built rpms, they altogether end up with
Couch quietly not starting up via the startup scripts. Invoking couchdb
on the command line immediately ends just lke this:

[...]
{"init terminating in
do_boot",{{badmatch,{error,{{app_would_not_start,mochiweb},{couch_app,start,[normal,["/etc/couchdb/default.ini","/etc/couchdb/local.ini"]]}}}},[{couch,start,0,[{file,"couch.erl"},{line,18}]},{init,start_it,1,[]},{init,start_em,1,[]}]}}

Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump
init terminating in do_boot ()
[...]

head of erl_crash.dump:

Does that make sense to anyone?
Thanks in advance in case of any helpful hints, meanwhile I'll try
getting the iriscouch/build-couchdb to run, which also doesn't seem to
work well on Fedora 19. Oh well. :|

Cheers,
Kristian
