Subject Replication spam
Date Sun, 13 Feb 2011 01:05:43 GMT
Just an update,

There's been a number of people complaining about emails being
rejected as spam when discussing replication. The current theory is
that due to some spam assassin rules that look for the occurrence of
"replica" (as in, fake watches) in subjects and bodies coupled with
sending emails as HTML would be enough to flag a message as spam.

Notice that the second half of that theory is for sending emails as
HTML. If you run into this issue can you check if you're sending HTML
or not? Gmail being a popular client that likes to send things as HTML
unless you click on the "Plain Text" link just above the message body
text area.

Also, if you have emails that were rejected can you forward the
message id's from the rejected emails (not the rejection notice).
