Subject [GitHub] couchdb-couch pull request: Implement two factor authentication
Date Thu, 30 Oct 2014 10:32:56 GMT
GitHub user rnewson opened a pull request:

    https://github.com/apache/couchdb-couch/pull/12

    Implement two factor authentication

    If enabled, require a second factor to acquire a session cookie and
    reject basic authentication attempts (as second factor cannot be
    presented). Allow previous and next token for clock skew.

    To enable this, you add a "2f" object to your user doc with a secret
    "key" value.

    This work is currently missing tests and documentation, and we'll
    also want a UI (to render a QR code with an otpauth url for easy
    setup).

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/apache/couchdb-couch two-factor-auth

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/couchdb-couch/pull/12.patch

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #12
