I'd drop the Planet and the Guide (because it's outdated). What do others think?

About the approval bit. Just to clarify: you are a contributor per our bylaws[1]. This means
that you are encouraged to just go ahead and do things. No need for approval from anyone.
We're here to assist you if you need to land patches. The project is yours, so just have at
it. The only purpose of discussion[2] here is to try and work towards a consensus.

Hope that makes sense. Gimme a shout if you'd like the bylaws clarifying. :) Summary is: have
at it. We're here to assist you, not give final approval. :)
