Date Tue, 11 Mar 2014 18:47:49 GMT

Garren Smith updated COUCHDB-2172:

Skill Level: New Contributors Level (Easy)

> Show popup instead on redirecting to noAccess page
> --------------------------------------------------
> Key: COUCHDB-2172
> URL:
> Project: CouchDB
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Security Level: public(Regular issues)
> Components: Fauxton
> Reporter: Alexander Shorin
> Labels: beginners
> This really annoys to get redirected just to read that you don't have access to some
resource. Fauxton could provide more nicer popup message that user has no permission to access
to some resource and keep him on the place where he currently is. If he comes by direct URL
to such resource - yes, redirection to noAccess page is reasonable.
> If you have a backbone history, show a back button so you can return to your previous
> If you sign in, have it take to the page you had no access to, instead of _all_docs
