Subject [jira] [Commented] (COUCHDB-2119) Untrivial to figure how to change the password
Date Tue, 11 Mar 2014 18:13:45 GMT

Sue Lockwood commented on COUCHDB-2119:

We don't really agree with this being an issue. Yes futon has that link in the bottom corner,
but most applications have an account section and you get to that section by clicking on your
own username or user icon.

For example: Jira. If you want to change your Jira password you'd click on your icon in the
corner to find that. That is something people are used to by now.

> Futon provides quite oblivious link for changing password. Fauxton assumes that user
will click on his name on sidebar to perform such action. Actually, I would expect to see
related user document in _users database, but not password change.
